What do I really need to know to use the site builder?

The cheap answer is "How to Type".

The honest answer is - your business.

You need to know who your customer is. What do they need to know? How can your site meet their needs. Our site builder lets you focus on what is important to your site visitor instead of learning how to build web sites.

Do I have to download special software?

No. Your website can be built in any of the major browsers. You build your website with simple forms in Microsoft's Internet Explorer, Firefox or Netscape 6.0. If you go online you already have the software you need.

The only exception may be for image manipulation. Most computers have some graphics package and all digital cameras come with the software that will let you resize your photos for the website. We do provide links to an online image editing program but you may want to have your own for the fancy stuff.

Can other people change my website?

No, all our Site Builder Administrative pages are password protected. No one can get on unless you share your password and login information.

Can I use Front Page or Dreamweaver to build my own pages and add them to the website?

Your website navigation is created as you add pages through our Site Builder. It is possible to add html pages if you have selected the Document Manager Add-On. These pages will not be available through the main website navigation - only from links on the Document Menu.
